Theatre

Directing, devising or writing, my projects emerge from a faith in theatre’s capacity to grow compassionate communities by telling stories that need to be told.

Theatre is a way of knowing. We can discover more about ourselves, our relations, and our world through theatrical practice. It’s a way to uplift others, a place where we suspend our judgments about one another, and listen from the heart to one another’s stories. I believe theatre can be a powerful civic tool, one that can exercise our capacities for empathy, nourishes democratic values and forwards restorative justice.
